As per the Governor’s announcement we are happy to inform that our office is opening Monday, May 11th, 2020.

Before Covid-19 became a pandemic, Weston Dental Design Group was carefully following the infection prevention control recommended by the American Dental Association and this allowed us to provide the utmost patient care and safety. As we move forward, we will be exercising extreme caution and adhering strictly to infection control protocols and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

In an effort to keep you informed we would like to let you know what to expect in your next dental visit.

The following changes have been established to keep you and our staff safe:

  • Patients are encouraged to arrive to their appointments on time and if possible without a companion. If they arrive before, they are kindly asked to wait in the car.
  • Patients are kindly asked to please wear a face mask prior to entering the office.
  • Patient’s temperature will be taken when they arrive to their appointment.
  • We will be pre-screening every patient for COVID-19 risk factors using a comprehensive questionnaire.
  • Patients reporting or exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms will be advised to contact their primary care physician immediately and their appointment will be rescheduled until “medical clearance” can be provided.
  • All staff members will have their temperatures taken upon arriving to the office and a record will be kept.
  • Patients are encouraged to utilize the hand sanitizer we have at the office prior to entering our clinical room.
  • Social distancing will be observed in the office and waiting areas. To help adequate distancing in the lobby there will be only four chairs each 6 feet apart.
  • Chairs have been changed to plastic chairs to make sure they are properly sanitized.
  • All reading material has been removed from the lobby.
  • As regards to scheduling we will lengthen patient’s appointments to minimize patient-to-patient contact.
  • We will recommend patients to use mouth-rinse twice just right before beginning all procedures.
  • All surfaces will be disinfected between patients in accordance with CDC and OSHA guidelines.
  • Air purifiers have been placed in every room to keep air clean at all times.
  • We are expecting the delivery of 3 brand new machines that constantly and instantly clean the air removing all dust, droplets, and aerosols.
  • Special care will be taken for patients with higher risk (pre-existing medical conditions) or immunocompromised individuals.
  • Patients will be asked to report any signs or symptoms of COVID-19 within the next 14 days after their visit.

Our goals are: To reduce facility risk, to isolate symptomatic patients as soon as possible, and protect patients and healthcare personnel at all times.

Again, thank you so much for your support. We’re happy to continue serving you, and can’t wait to see your smile!
